Clay Slab Box Building

We all have the desire and love to create! Let’s enjoy making art and discovering our creative process together. With Gogh Create we believe in a customizable approach and provide you with the resources to help you create something that will bring you joy!

This is a 2 day workshop. Signing up includes attendance to both classes.

July 11^th will be the clay construction day. With our customizable instruction you’ll get to create your ideal ceramic box and learn the clay making process. Using earthenware clay, participants will construct a clay box, with a slab hand building process.

July 25^th will be the glazing day. With the use of underglazes, participants will add the element of color to their ceramic boxes. After another turn in the kiln participants will be able to pick their pottery creations anytime after July 27^th from Atlantic Pottery Supply.

Atlantic Pottery Supply is located at 725 Atlantic Blvd, Suite #21 in Atlantic Beach. Which can be find in the back of the Cantina Louie and Atlantic Beach Brewery shopping center off Cavalla Rd. 

$75—Includes all supplies. Participants can bring their own beverages to enjoy during this workshop. Participants are also encouraged to bring pictures that would assist with inspiration.
