The Gilmore Quandary began as a writing collective in the summer of ’24, founded by four seasoned musicians: Craig Reagor, Kevin Peacon, Chris Underdal, and Kevin Ramos. United by a desire to explore music beyond the boundaries of their usual gigs, the quartet set out to create original instrumental compositions that speak to their deep musical roots.
In February of ’25, they stepped into Retrophonics Studio to bring these compositions to life. The result? Their debut album, Retrophonic — a genre-blending journey steeped in funk, soul, Latin, and fusion influences. It's music made for musicians and fans alike — dynamic, groove-heavy, and unapologetically bold.
