The love affair began early, which may very well explain how Taylor Roberts’ professional career is well into its third decade. Spanning as wide a range of influences as there are genres of music, Taylor Roberts has earned a reputation that is continuously expanding. Although his heart is deeply steeped in Jazz, Roberts does not easily fit into any one box. His influences range from R&B, to Classic Rock, to Pop, and everything in between.
Years of intensive study with world-renowned educators such as Barry Greene, Keith Javors, and Bunky Green have proven to continually pay off as his career expands. His reworkings and adaptations of songs old and new entrance established fans, while attracting new fans on a nightly basis. Roberts has appeared multiple times at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival and has toured internationally with the Christian Tamburr Quintet. He has been hired by the Rolling Stones to play their private events. His position as the primary in-house entertainment at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island since 2014 has allowed him opportunities to travel the world and enjoy residencies at other luxury resorts as he performs for an international audience on a nightly basis.
Likened to Tommy Emmanuel, Russell Malone, Wes Montgomery, Tuck Andress and Charlie Hunter, Roberts’ masterful playing has begun to etch his name alongside his heroes.”

As a Soloist for over four decades Arvid Smith’s immersion in Wood and Wire have taken him to events, venues and stages of all kinds. From Bluegrass festivals to accompanying the sacred chant of Kirtan . Yoga Festivals and gatherings focused on ritual , Through this journey the voices range from the ethereal Harp Guitar of the 19th century to theIndonesian ‘Kacapi’ 20 stringed harp , the noble lutes of the Tanpura, Swarasangum and Sitar from India. Throw in some balmy Hawaiian lap steel guitar and the colorful soundscape is set.Crisscrossing genres may not be a new idea , but it’s always a fresh approach to mold the various world ambient sounds to single stream. Becoming the vessel through which nature speaks.
In group settings he has lent his approach to morph the early psych-folk of Tory Voodoo into the polished Americana of Tammerlin and the much lamented Canary In The Coal Mine. Currently he is active in the regional bands of Folk Is People, The New Moon Ramblers , Mark Williams’ Blue Horse and Madison Grace Dirt Road Angel …”
