Riverside Avondale Preservation’s Garden Tour highlights our historic area’s backyards, gardens, water features, container gardens and community gardens. Each garden represents a work of art, a passion for nature, and a display of creativity. You’ll see both big and small gardens with water features, art, and a variety of plantings, to create landscapes full of surprises.
The Garden Tour is self-guided, and the gardens listed on the tour map can be visited in any order. Each garden will have a volunteer available for questions.
There will be a Flower Market on Park Street in the Whiteway Building lot, and ZenCog Bicycles on Stockton will offer $10 rentals to ticket holders.
RAP’s Garden Tour has so much to offer for everyone from the urban gardener, to the patio person and balcony user. So come and enjoy, ask questions, share ideas, and have a “green” day.
To receive your paper Garden Tour ticket and map, bring your e-ticket confirmation to the RAP office May 4-9 between 9:00 and 4:30. You will need both of these items to participate in the tour!
The Garden Tour is a celebration of our community, and also a fundraiser for Riverside Avondale Preservation. Through your support, RAP is able to continue our mission of preserving and promoting Riverside Avondale's historic fabric, unique character, and local businesses, arts, and culture.
