"A sultry, captivating woman who can write great music and lyrics" - All Access Mag.

Rachel McGoye downtown Jacksonville Florida

Rachel McGoye has been on the rise in the music industry for the past decade. She captivates any room she's performing in and her talent is inexplicable. Anyone who has seen and heard her live asks the question "Why is this girl not huge?!"

Rachel is currently recording her 6th studio album in Jacksonville, Fl which is expected to be released Late 2017. She just released her latest single "Into Your Heart", accompanied by her first-ever music video. Stroking heart strings as she usually does with her harmonies, vocals and lyrics, her return to her southern roots of Florida is apparent in her laid back folk/rock vibe of 'Into Your Heart'.
Rachel officially fulfilled one of her checks off of her bucket list when she opened her House Concert Venue in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. She hosts local, national and International recording artists for musical acoustic sets in a beautiful, intimate, beach back yard environment. McGoye currently plays shows in the east coast region with plans for a 2018 Spring tour.

Having obtained a B.A. from the acclaimed Berklee College of Music, Boston, Rachel then headed to L.A, to pursue her dream of being a Singer/Songwriter.
After a few years of writing and playing several shows a year, McGoye independently released her first acoustic E.P titled “ What Day Is It?”
With the release of her E.P came the attraction of several Indie labels. In January of 2007, Rachel signed with 10 spot Records out of Encino, CA, and released her first full-length release titled “Beautiful Disaster.” This album was produced by Steve Harvey (The Temptations) and recorded at the world renown Studio at the Shore in Malibu, CA. Rachel had the astounding opportunity to record with some of L.A.’s most prestigious musicians playing for artists such as The Temptations, Chaka Kahn, Rufus Wainwright, Lauryn Hill and several other amazing artists.
Two years later McGoye released her fourth E.P titled ‘Ghetto Gloss’ produced by Alex Band ( The Calling), getting rave reviews and taking her more into the Pop realm than ever before.
In 2012, after spending 10 years in Los Angeles and deciding she was ready to stir the pot with music and life, Rachel made Nashville, TN, home. Her 5th studio album "Patchwork" marked the first record made outside of L.A. It was an exquisite combination of the progression of pop influence, her singer/songwriter roots, major growth as an artist and one of a kind production of the duo Skylar Wilson and Jordan Lehning (nominated for a Grammy for Americana album in 2014).
As a one woman army, Rachel has made some serious strides including opening up for American Idol runner-up, Kellie Pickler, at the Pineapple Festival in Jensen Beach, Florida, showcasing as a main stage artist for the NACA Regional West Conference, a 3 month cross country solo/acoustic tour, playing in 26 cities and states across the U.S., an appearance on Fuel TV’s ‘The Daily Habit’ as the first ever female acoustic performer on the show as well as her song “Try Try” featured as Starbucks download of the week. Rachel continues to persist, amaze and dig deeper with each album she creates. She is a voice and force to be reckoned with.
