Some things go together better than others. Why and what makes a perfect pairing?
First, you'll learn the 4 or 5 guiding principles to use when trying to pair cheese or just about anything with something else.
Next is the fun part, a vertical tasting of 4 different cheeses with a variety of food items while applying pairing principles. The pairing possibilities will include sweet, crunchy, pickled and charcuterie. We'll discuss why each pairing works or does not work and why.
One glass of wine or bottled water will be supplied to participants. Please feel free to stop next door at Bernie's Wine Stop and bring your own wine and we'll supply the glasses.
