"Singer/songwriter Kara Frazier blends soul, gospel and pop for a contemporary powerhouse sound. At a young age, she latched onto the music of Nina Simone, Etta James, and Otis Redding to name a few. Her signature sound has gained comparisons to modern-day singers like Adele and Bishop Briggs. A complicated past growing up in church and a divided home fuels her bold songwriting.

Frazier's first major success came in 2018 with her debut single release “Deliver Me” produced by GRAMMY-winner Shannon Sanders (India.Arie, John Legend). The single gained local radio support from Nashville’s Lightning 100 and Jacksonville’s 95.1 WAPE, plus additions to Spotify playlists such as "Grey’s Anatomy Season 15.” A second single release and a full-length EP followed.

Born in Jacksonville, FL, Frazier relocated to Nashville to further pursue her career. The Belmont University graduate was selected to perform in the 2017 Emergence series, a partnership show by the Bluebird and Nashville Ballet for the city’s most promising rising artists. She has collaborated with bands like The Aquaducks, Nicole Boggs & The Reel, and opened for acts including Mr. B, CAMM and Stax Records’ group, Southern Avenue.

As a featured artist of Swisher Sweets’ Artist Project, Frazier recently launched her lifestyle apparel line. Frazier’s debut EP "Seven Ages" officially released in March 2019, in conjunction with a regional U.S. tour.”
