Snowflakes for a Winter Mini Class designed especially for Teen and Tweens!

I have so many people ask me to do classes for kids, so we are trying this out! This class is intended for kids ages 10 and up and their guardians or caregivers only. If you are an adult, please see our adult classes or email us and save this one for the kiddos! If you have children younger than 10, we are planning something special for them in January so be sure to follow us for more information!

This is a beginner’s mini class where each student will learn the basic techniques to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing. Each student is provided with all the materials they need to create six snowflake cookies to take home! We will be working with two colors and have lots of pearls and sprinkles for decoration.

Please feel free to bring your own refreshments and snacks! Classes are $35 per person, plus fees. This is a mini two-hour class, but since it is our first one like this it may be a little longer or shorter! If this class goes well, we will continue to have special Mini classes for kids in the future! We will spend about 45 minutes practicing before we attempt our cookies to give each student some time to get to know how to use royal icing. The rest of the time will be spent on decorating our cookies. Each student is encouraged to work at their own pace, so some may take longer than others.

Space is limited so that each student has one on one time with the instructor. Because it is a first pay first reserved basis, this class is nonrefundable although you can transfer to another person.

A parent or guardian must be present the entire class although they do not have to participate. Each participant must have a ticket. Please no splitting tickets/cookies between participants. Please be on time as we start promptly at 1 and you may miss important information. It is best not to wear any long sleeves or dangling jewelry as it often ends up in the icing. Please be aware that the colors can stain clothes. You are welcome to bring an apron!

Feel free to bring your own refreshments and snacks! Please remember that space may be limited with our cookie supplies. People often bring their own aprons too!

Sorry, there are no refunds for this class as it is a first pay, first booked order. You can transfer your ticket though!

Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

Yes! Although fees are nonrefundable you can give your ticket to someone else! No credit will be given for future classes though.
