Vaylor is a gifted guitarist and songwriter with a rich musical heritage that includes performing with a variety of artists such as the Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band, and with the Allman Brothers Band. Melody is a respected drummer and percussionist who has made a name for herself playing with a range of artists.

Through "The Blue Jay Sessions," Vaylor and Melody showcase the many musical styles that have flourished in the South, including blues, rock, jazz, and gospel. With their extensive knowledge and deep respect for these genres, they curate a series that is both entertaining and educational. "The Blue Jay Sessions" offers an opportunity for viewers to explore the rich history and culture of music that has emerged from the Southern region of the United States.

Arleigh and Jackson Kincheloe are the driving force behind the band Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds. Arleigh is the lead vocalist and songwriter, while Jackson plays the harmonica and serves as the band's music director.

Arleigh's powerful vocals and commanding stage presence have earned her comparisons to legends like Janis Joplin and Tina Turner. Meanwhile, Jackson's soulful harmonica playing adds a unique texture to the band's bluesy rock sound.
