Arlington Mod & More returns!
Old Arlington, Inc. and the American Institute of Architects-Jacksonville Chapter will host the fifth annual Arlington Mod & More Home Tour Saturday, November 4. On the tour, nicknamed the Mini, Midi, Maxi Mod and More Tour, is a classic 1958 mid-mod home, recently featured in Jacksonville Magazine, restored to fit the hip mod lifestyle of today’s millennial generation and an iconic “butterfly-style” home designed by Robert Broward filled with furniture and accessories of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Tour guests will also have the opportunity to see inside one of Arlington’s historic homes on the St. Johns, and peek into the country’s first LEED certified tiny home. Other tour sites include designs by Jacksonville architects Ted Pappas, Robert Broadfoot and George Fisher. Norman Silent Film Studios, Jacksonville’s newest National Historic Landmark, will also be open for touring.
The tour will begin with a symposium at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd. N., with UF Professor Emeritus and noted author, Ron Haase. Copies of Mr. Haase’s latest book, The Last House, will be available for purchase.

tour sites/info will be available for pickup at the church.

1:00 PM - Close of day-of ticket sales and advanced ticket pick-up
Tickets will be sold online and at the symposium location on tour day from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM at the symposium location for $20. Online ticket sales will start in August 2017.
