Jessica Pounds

With a musical background spanning styles as diverse as teenage Christian Pop-Punk, to big band jazz, to Americana roots music, Jessica Pounds displays an eclectic, inclusive writing style that showcases her unique take-always from each genre. Her writing style is best summed up as “eerily hopeful”, her dark soprano vocals soaring ethereally, all while displaying melodic styling that borders equally on the obscure and the catchy, balancing quirky modes with standard chord progressions in a seamless transitional style all her own. She has performed live onstage with the likes of Americana greats such as Jim Lauderdale and Tania Elizabeth of the Avett Brothers, and has held her own as the front woman of esteemed Jacksonville darlings Canary in the Coalmine.

Madison Grace

Madison recently released her debut album, "Moral to this Story" and it is now streaming on Spotify, Amazon, and available on itunes. Her southern influences run deep and speak to the eclectic and sometimes eccentric traditions that are par for the course in that region. Her album bears testament to this. Radio-friendly country pop greets you immediately on first listen. It is within this context that she tackles her heritage head-on: she combines an intuitive and insightful understanding of the trappings of modern centennial culture (as experienced through the lense of a newly post-teen) with a deeper understanding of the sometimes problematic, sometimes empowering history and culture of the south from which she was born. She accomplishes this effortlessly, through her songwriting and performance. She never apologizes for or covers up who she is and where she came from, but she single-handedly re-defines what it means to be a young woman from the south in 2019.
