Jacksonville Whiskey Affair

Jacksonville Magazine is at it again with delicious eats, fine spirits and more. Part glam festival, part chic cocktail party, part foodie extravaganza—the seventh annual Jacksonville Whiskey Affair will be a celebration of cocktails and culture.

2017's event takes place November 2, 7 PM at Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park.

The Cocktail Challenge

The Cocktail Challenge returns with top local watering holes creating a specialty cocktail with the goal of winning the “People’s Choice” award. Each guest receives their own "Jacksonville Whiskey Affair" shot glass to use at each station. Guests will cast their votes for their favorite cocktail at the end of the night.

Beneficiary

Image result for safe animal shelter logo

This year's beneficiary of Jacksonville Whiskey Affair is Safe Animal Shelter. The shelter was extremely effected by Hurricane Irma, resulting in all animals being moved to other facilities such as the Jacksonville Humane Society or into foster homes. Due to damage, the shelter is currently closed and working to fix the damage and return to their duty of saving animals. Every helping hand counts!

Safe Animal Shelter will be doing a raffle and a donation drive. Guests are encouraged to bring an item from the shelter's Amazon Wishlist in support.

Safe Animal Shelter is a 501 (c)(3) organization which receives no government funding. All services we provide the community are funded by individual and business donations, grants from charitable foundations, pet adoption fees, and fund-raising activities held throughout each year.

We measure our success by maximizing the number of loving families who adopt pets from us. Each pet we adopt to a forever family opens up space to save another homeless cat or dog. We encourage you to consider us your “Go To” Our Adoption Center when looking for your next family pet.
