Brittany Kurtz, of Firetrove & Kurco Construction, is a self- taught weaver and lover of all things psychedelic and sustainable. She has been bringing her free-spirited aesthetic and passion for weaving to events around town with her community weaving project, Woven Together.

Brittany will guide the workshop through the basics of weaving from beginning to end, including how to set up a lap loom, weave patterns and create fringe. With a variety of colored and textured yarn to choose from, attendees are invited to explore their creative side by handcrafting a wall hanging that is perfect for each individual's home sweet home. All materials needed to create a woven wall hanging are included in the cost.
